Swedish Massage
Swedish massage combines various hands-on techniques such as gliding, kneading, and cross fiber friction to break up adhesions in muscle. Lomi Lomi Hawaiian massage techniques, which are done with forearms creating long fluid strokes with a broad pressure, is another form of a hands-on techniqe. Pressure is typically moderate to light.
Deep-tissue Massage: 
This is a type of Swedish massage. As its name suggests, it focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is done very slowly, working on softening the upper layer of tissue, then working into the deeper muscles and tendons. A common misconception is that deep-tissue massage is supposed to be painful in order to be effective. But when people experience pain, they contract their muscles and brace against the massage strokes which can cause more harm than good. Pressure is typically very firm.
Hot Stone Massage
This is done with water-heated, smooth basalt stones. Oil is used to allow the warm stones to glide over the skin. The heat from the stones penetrates into the muscles for a deep relaxing massage. Because each person's sensitivity to heat is different it is important to let your therapist know if any stones are too warm, or uncomfortable.
Cupping Therapy
This is done with the use of plastic or silicon massage cups creating suction and reverse pressure. Cupping therapy is used to soften tight muscles, loosen adhesions, and separate layers of connective tissue to bring hydration and blood flow to body tissues. It, however, can leave marks; the marks dissipate over a period of a few hours to several weeks, depending on the amount of stagnation and post treatment activities. Massage cupping marks are an indication of existing toxins being removed from deep within the tissues. The marks are not painful. This massage is not done entirely with the cups, but used along with a Swedish or deep-tissue massage.
